MHSM is structured to put the core institutional academic/support activities under specialized but closely coordinated supervision. We believe that this setup best serves the school’s twin purposes of delivering academic excellence and promoting Christian values. The current institutional structure of MHSM consists of the Board, the Directors, a Senior Management Team and staff of MHSM.
The Board
The Board is the highest governing body of MHSM structure. It is comprised of 8 members with the functional role and full responsibility of MHSM strategic oversight and governance.
School Directors
The School Directors are responsible for working with the Board and Headteacher/Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure that MHSM has a clear and compelling vision and strategic plan that creates an effective system of strategic measurement and leadership. Additionally, the School Directors are responsible for all aspects of MHSM’s operational management and financial viability; ensuring that standards are in place and operational to create a work environment of motivated staff in promotion of the school’s core purpose and mandate.
Head Teacher
The Head Teacher is responsible for working together with the Directors and Board of Governance to ensure MHSM has a clear and compelling vision and strategic plan for an effective system of strategic measurement, governance and operational efficiency. He or she then bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the various school departments are structured, supported, organized, and managed in such a way as to maximize achievement of the vision. sources.
Senior Management Team
The Senior Management Team (SMT) is responsible for supporting the School Director and Headteacher to champion the policies, strategy, and the entire scope of the School. It’s charged with determining and championing the Schools’ strategic goals, innovating, designing policies, and ensuring that the activities of staff are consistent with established and agreed quality standards and professional guidelines that determine achievement of MHSMs strategic ends.
