Diligence

We pledge great results through collaboration, hard work, reliability and dependability.

We believe: In order to achieve the full potential of our efforts to offer excellent academic and Christian-value service, we understand and believe that we can never achieve that goal individually. We must positively engage the efforts, talents and interests of each member and of everyone else who is touched by and can contribute to that effort harnessing differences to deepen our grasp and presence through rigorous pursuit.

We value diligence: We will build trust amongst ourselves through collaboration, hard work and reliability in order to take action and find solutions. We understand that team-play is critical to tap synergies for greater achievements. We realize that diligence binds people and organizations through a common/ shared pursuit. Differences are celebrated; trust is earned and preserved through thoughtful diligence, active engagement and collaboration with our colleagues and clients.

We behave: We shall work as a team and serve to teach our students with diligence, respect, humility, confidence and perseverance. In the process, we shall confront issues, not people. When we have differences, we shall confront them in a direct way, not passively, to resolve the issues that drive those differences. We shall actively engage with people and institutions to share information, ideas and resources that shall improve their purposes of engagement with us. We shall be open to a variety of thoughts and divergent perspectives that reflect the diversity of our nation, students and staff.

God-fearing

We pledge to place God first in all things we do in our actions and inactions.

We believe: The capabilities, talents and resources we have are a God-given gift, granting us the opportunity to meet not only our needs but also the needs of others. We will use them to make the world around us, not just ourselves better. We believe in trust in God and excel by being truly accountable to the creator and giver of gifts and talents.

We value: God-fearing: We firmly believe that we are called to serve and that our contribution in mitigating the challenges existent in our community is a privilege.

We behave: We shall be considerate of the call to be God-fearing good corporate citizens and good neighbors to those around us.
